Auditions For Arches LIVE! 2009.We are holding auditions for male and female actors to be involved in a show currently titled ‘Pictures of Heaven’ to be performed at the Arches LIVE! theatre festival in September.
The piece takes as its inspiration a short story by Ali Smith in which disparate characters are woven together through the mutual discovery of hoaxed pictures of heaven in shop windows. The piece will be an exploration of grief, hope and will look to expose the profound beauty that can be found in small personal narratives.
The text written by Catriona Easton will be developed with the cast during early stages of rehearsal so we are looking for enthusiastic and creative performers to collaborate with.
The festival takes place between 17th-25th September and our piece will be performed for up to three nights, although these dates are yet to be confirmed. The rehearsal period will include development during July and rehearsals proper starting at the beginning of September.
