THE FLYING CARPET REGIMENT is a faked-up feature documentary following two
geeks trying to locate the last Iraqi Flying Carpet. Nothing like Blair-witch!

Due to the film's UNIQUE visual style, a (15-20min) pilot is required for financers. It'll be a short film that'll stand on its own.

The director Basil Khalil has worked on a wide range of projects, from Shorts, to 3D animations, Documentaries to a Cannes 2002 Award winning feature.The Writer Gordon Robertson has a long track record in successful TVcomedies.The ideal candidate must be of great improvisational skills, and be based in or near Glasgow.

A three-day (weekend) shoot is planned for end March/beginning April. The pilot isn't funded, however Expenses will be covered and a showreel provided. Should the feature go into production, you could be very well recast for the feature.

MATEUS: 19-26 years, University geek, with a strong Portuguese accent.
