AuditionsAuditions for Professional Performers: Arches Award for Stage Directors - 'The Library' As the recipient of the Arches Award for stage directors Artistic Director Sacha Kyle (*****5stars the Herald ‘Lost Property’) will be developing a new piece ‘The Library’ for 2009. The development period will be supported by the National Theatre of Scotland and the final presentation will be shown at both the Arches and the Traverse Theatre.

Please find the playing age for each character as below (upon successful application more detailed information on each character will be provided)

We are looking for professional creative/physical performers who are excited by and have the ability to work within both devised and text based theatre. A sense of play is a must and an openness to improvise and work physically in the space is desired.



Man 1 – Playing age mid 20’s – mid 40’s

Man 2 – Playing age mid 50’s-mid 60’s

Boy 1 – Playing age 8

Woman 1 – Playing age early 30’s – Mid 40’s

Woman 2 – Playing age early 20’s – early 30’s



Performers must be free to attend:

The NTS workshop 19-25th January 2009

Rehearsals March/April 2009

Performances at Arches and Traverse April 13th-25th 2009
