STAG New Writing Festival

GeneralNEW WRITING FESTIVAL

Student Theatre at Glasgow's phenomenally successful NEW WRITING FESTIVAL finds a new home at the Ramshorn!

Each year the University of Glasgow's foremost theatre society invites Glasgow audiences and a panel of judges from the professional arts scene to come and see four new works from four brilliant new talents based in Glasgow. Out of the shows one is selected to represent STaG at the Edinburgh Fringe. Previous winners Dear Theo (Dawn Taylor, 2008), and I don't live here anymore (Philippa Mannion, 2009) went on to inspire glowing four star reviews, and this year will be no different. The Festival is a key launchpad for new student playwrights and directors.
