CALLING ALL YOUNG ACTORS

I am currently studying in second year on the HND TV Production course at Stow College and I am looking for some budding actors to appear in my forthcoming short film.

Filming will take place on the 15th, 16th and 17th March and will be in Glasgow’s West End

I am looking for 3 actors, 2 male & 1 female:

*Male Actors*
I am looking for one of the male actors to be 16-20 with youthful looks and a childish nature.

My other male actor is to be 18-30 and needs to be an older gentleman who can be the villain of the piece.

*Female Actors*
I am looking for a mature female aged 18-30 who has a serious attitude to acting and can bring emotion to their pieces.

I have already arranged for a very friendly crew to film the shoot so I promise you it will be a lot of fun on location. I am unfortunately not able to pay anyone but copies of the finished production will be available to anyone who wants them to add to their showcase and with further productions coming up then I may be able cast you for other shoots to add to your experience. I will however make sure that travel costs are reimbursed and I’ll also keep you fed on location. I do make a mean toastie and soup, and the best cups of tea in Glasgow!

I will be holding auditions within the next 2 weeks. The audition process will be made up of a short excerpt from the script of your chosen character and a short improvisation.

If you’re interested then please send me your personal details (remember an email address or mobile number), any previous experience you’ve had, the role you would like to fill in the play, photos if possible and any health conditions I should know about.

If you contact me I will send a copy of the script to you with a breakdown of the character you are interested in so you can read through the script and see if you will be suitable for the character. Remember you can audition for more than 1 part if you wish.
