Welcome to Glasgow Theatre Underground Wednesday, September 08 2010 @ 12:23 PM BST
GTU Will be ClosingGlasgowTheatreUnderground has historically been run for free, with all of the costs relating to hosting and domain registrations being absorbed by Phoenix Productions, whilst most of the day-to-day editorial activities have been taken on by Bruce. Unfortunately we're no longer in a position to sustain this and so it is with a quite significant amount of sorrow that we have to announce that GlasgowTheatreUnderground will be ceasing to operate from the end of this month.
We'd like to thank all of our users who have come along with us!

Looking for an actress for thirty page show reel film, shot in and about Glasgow. The film is entitled Lounge Lizards and portrays cynical modern romance and relationships.
I'm looking for an actress, 21 to 28, reasonably attractive (are you allowed to say that?) , funny, for the lead role. The plan is to shoot for one day a week, more than likely a Sunday, in the studio for the six days, then location for a further three days. With a couple of days of rehearsals before hand and a few hours mid week , it is quite a big commitment but to make you feel better you should probably look at it like lots of little commitments.
If you fancy getting involved in on what is hopefully an enjoyable collaborative experience that you can be proud of and be able to stick on you CV, then this is for you.
This is sadly unpaid, but if you have a real interest and want to read the script, give me an email on richie.cunningham@live.co.uk or a text/ call on : 07981502665.
Cheers

Writer and Performer Gracey Flair will perform her debut play in
Sloans Bar
108 Argyle Street, City Centre
Glasgow
On Saturday 14th August
At 7.30pm
“D’Yi Mind? A’m Tryin’ ‘Ae Blossom Here!” is a completely unique sparkling piece of work. Gracey Flair, a rising star? DEFINITELY. One not to be missed!
Also performing earlier that night, as an act in her own right and later with her ‘soon to be released’ unique song ‘To Blossom or to Bloom’, specially written for Gracey’s play, is Glasgow artist Lynnie Carson in her acoustic guise. "Voice of Velvet" "Simply Beautiful"
